When Warchal created their new Amber strings they used all their experience and knowledge to make the highest quality string set. Their goal was to achieve at least the same quality of sound that gut strings provide, but without the typical tuning instability. To be able to do that, they developed a brand new core material called W-Core®.

• G Synthetic - Stainless Steel / Pure Silver
• ball end

• Size short (covers small and middle size instruments): vibrating length 14" - 15" (36 - 38 cm)
• Size long (for instruments over 40 cm playing string length only): vibrating length 15" - 15 3/4" (38 - 40 cm)

To avoid damaging strings it is essential that Warchal viola string sizes are chosen according to the vibrating string length of your instrument and not its body length. According to Warchal producers the small sized strings suit the vibrating string length of the majority of violas. Warchal does not state any body sizes.
